The MTA Nationals is one of the most significant events in the Muaythai Calendar for athletes in the sport, this event is tournament style and serves as the National Qualifier, where A Class athletes compete to secure their position on the Australian National Team. This event caters to all athletes giving everyone the opportunity to improve and gain experience. Offering a range of classes to suit all athletes.

MTA is aligned with the IOC recognised body of Muaythai, IFMA. Who is working towards becoming an Olympic sport.

The IOC recognizes organizations that align with their Olympic values ensuring that the principles and integrity of the sport are upheld. MTA is the governing body for Muaythai in Australia recognised by Sports Integrity Australia.

All registrants must arrive on the 13th March to confirm their weight class, submit any required documents that have not yet been submitted and collect their competition and or Wai Kru uniform. Competition will begin on the 14th March and will end on 16th of March 3pm
