The Melbourne University Law Students' Society, in partnership with Gilbert + Tobin, proudly presents the 2023 Law Ball!

For months the Activities team of the MULSS have been conjuring up the night of nights on the MLS calendar, and we invite all students to Crown Palladium for a night of elegance and fun! Anyone and everyone is invited - be sure to bring your friends, partners and siblings along to a night that will transport you to red carpet of Hollywood for a night of glitz and glamour fit for an A-list celebrity!

Your ticket includes canapés on arrival, main course and dessert all prepared by Crown’s world class chefs, unlimited table service of assorted beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), an exciting, high-energy, top-secret main act and access to the exclusive after party just a short walk away at Therapy Night Club in the Crown precinct!

🎥 Attire: Black tie (dress to impress, but no need to dress to the theme)

⭐ Ticket Prices ⭐

MULSS Member Non-Drinking: $114 + booking fee
MULSS Member Drinking: $129 + booking fee
Non-MULSS Member: $139 + booking fee
The Equitable Ticketing Scheme applies to this event.

⭐ How will tables and tickets work? ⭐ 

A maximum of 10 people can sit on any one table. If you wish to sit with friends (and not be allocated to a random table), you will need to choose a table leader amongst the group with whom you wish to sit. Each person sitting at this table will need to indicate at checkout who their table leader is. If you have coordinated a group of less than 10, that is fine! The process is exactly the same - a table leader must be chosen, and everyone in the group will need to indicate who their table leader is at checkout. The table leader must be the same person for all people in the group.

If you fail to indicate a table leader, we will allocate you to a random table.

For example, the Activities Team consists of 10 people - Richard, Hugo, Tiana, Danya, Emma, Caitlin, Bren, Allison, Jack and Gabby. We might select Richard as our table leader. All 10 members of the Activities team (including Richard), would need to indicate 'RICHARD WOTHERSPOON' in capital letters into the checkout question, Who is your table leader?

You may purchase a ticket for yourself, and others. If doing so, you must have the full name, email address, phone number, student ID (if MULSS members), dietary and accessibility requirements on hand at checkout for the others for whom you are purchasing a ticket. If they are an MLS student, you must be certain that they have completed the Sexual Misconduct and Bystander training organised by the MULSS.

Ticket sales will close on Friday the 28th of July at 9am.

⭐ Refunds ⭐
If you require a refund, please select the ‘Contact Host’ button on your booking confirmation email and follow the prompts. Refund requests will strictly close at 9am on Friday the 28th of July. Following 9am Friday the 30th of July, tickets can no longer be refunded and can only be directly transferred to another individual. Ticket holder details can be altered on Humanitix by selecting ‘Edit Order’ on your booking confirmation email. Ticket transfers will be organised privately and not through the MULSS. Please note: dietary requirements cannot be altered on any ticket transfers submitted after 9am on Friday the 28th of July.

Please Note: All Melbourne Law School students will need to have completed Sexual Misconduct and Bystander training as advertised and organised by the MULSS throughout semester one. If you have not completed the training, and do not have an exemption, you will be unable to attend Law Ball 2023. More sessions will be organised for week 1 of Semester Two.
