Mid Canterbury TimeBank & Mid Canterbury Newcomers Network are organising a Multicultural Fun Day at Hakatere Marae, open to the whole community! 💃

Suitable for all ages and all cultures, there will be different games and activities from around the world that you can choose to do... or you can just grab a cuppa, sit and chat, meet someone new and enjoy being at the marae.

We'll have poi making if you want to make your own poi, or perhaps you'd rather try weaving something from flax? Kids will love the piñata!

Come and enjoy a relaxing and fun afternoon celebrating and enjoying different cultures.

The event is free, but please bring something for the shared afternoon tea. Perhaps you might like to share something special from your culture? Anything will be appreciated.🍪🍉🥜🍫🥐🍰
