WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?:
The MCCSA recognises that men's attitudes towards mental health are gradually evolving. While many still hesitate to seek help, there's a growing awareness of the importance of mental wellbeing. Some men are breaking traditional stereotypes by opening up about their struggles and seeking professional support.This shift, though slow, is encouraging and can lead to better outcomes. However, challenges remain in overcoming long-standing stigmas and cultural expectations. Continued efforts in education, destigmatisation, and improving access to mental health resources are crucial for making meaningful progress in men's mental health care.
