Event description

Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful baby! This class is a wonderful way of looking after yourself after the birth of your baby. It will help to relaxe your nervous system and brings balance to your endocrine system (hormonal balance). It helps to create a balance between your body's physical needs and your emotional state.
The movement we do on baby are payful and invite you to engage in games and movement you might not have explored yet with baby. Giggles guaranteed! It can improve baby coordination; settleness, sleep, digestion, ease in different position (like being on your tummy) and much more.

Course will run between

Thursday 16th February to Thursday 16th March, every week on Thursday at 11 am.

Recommended For babies 6 weeks to actively crawling.

Those classes focus on postures and movements specifically designed for the postnatal months by helping your body regain strength and tone in a safe and effective way. The emphasis is on strengthening the pelvic floor, the abdomen, legs and back as well as on opening and relaxing tensions in the shoulders, neck and arms. The movement in these classes is gentle and slow, giving you time to integrate the experiences of your body after birth.

In each class we focus on:

- Restoring stability in the pelvic floor

- Building strength and tone in the abdomen and lower back

- Opening and relaxing tensions in the shoulders, neck and arms

- Improving circulation and posture

- Breathwork and relaxation techniques to calm the nervous system and relieve stress.

No yoga experience is necessary. Classes are suitable for babies from the age of 6 weeks to one year.

Yes! Sometimes your baby will cry during class, and that's ok! You are encouraged to feed, change, cuddle and comfort baby when needed, but we also understand that sometimes babies (and mums too) are just having a shitty day, and need to have a cry. Go for it babies. You and your mum are in a safe and supportive environment.

We will also do movement on baby, which is a wonderful playful way to connect and bond with your baby.

Places are limited to 8 students, ensuring you get the most out of your practice.
