Here we go!

This is our big fundraiser of 2021 - an amazing pool of prizes to win, kindly donated by generous sponsors in our community.

Who are we?

Mummys In Need – Taranaki, is a branch-off the registered not-for-profit charity Mummys in need (Auckland based). The aim is to provide practical support for local Whanau and Tamariki in the Taranaki region.

Mummys In Need Taranaki was launched in November 2020 after identifying a need for support for parents in the region who are struggling to provide their children with essential items. These items can range from clothing, footwear, pyjamas and books to school items and toys. Along with items such as basic personal hygiene products such as toothpaste/toothbrushes, shampoo and body soap, sanitary items for young women/mums, nappies and formula for younger aged children.

As we are completely not-for-profit we rely 100% on generous donations to operate, and provide items that can’t be donated second hand. All work carried out for Mummys in Need is voluntary.

This fundraiser is so that we can raise much needed funds for our mission to continue into 2022.
