Wanna dance, mama? You’re invited to Mumrave!

This November, we’re taking Mumraves, a series of FREE pop-up nightclubs just for mums, on tour across Aotearoa! Each Mumrave takes place inside a pop-up rave tent set up in the park, where you’ll enjoy one power hour of dancing, laughter, and good vibes with other mums, all set to beats from an awesome DJ. Because mums deserve to shake it out, reconnect, and have fun. Each Mumrave session is one hour, capped at 40 participants.

Mumraves also mark the relaunch of The Village NZ, a free online hub connecting mums to support and education in the first 1,000 days of motherhood. Our mission is to improve maternal health and build real community. You can sign up to our free online parenting hub. Hub.thevillagenz.org. 

Mums are invited to come alone or bring a group of friends and enjoy an hour of dance with DJ’s Jousey & Sam Trevethick, (aka Sambora and founding member of Shapeshifter).

What to Expect

Mumrave is a fun, high-energy, one-hour dance experience inside our enclosed pop-up rave tent.
Here’s what the vibe looks like:

• A nightclub atmosphere created inside a tent, lighting, great music, and a welcoming space just for mums

• You’ll be standing and dancing the entire hour (no seating inside the tent)

• The tent is outdoors in a park setting, so expect a short walk and dress for the weather

• A complimentary non-alcoholic drink on arrival

• A high-energy DJ set

• Spot prizes and a small goodie bag to take home

• A supportive, uplifting atmosphere where mums can let go and have fun
