Ballantynes Mums and Bubs Club – with Maria Stevens

We welcome Mums, Dads and caregivers to join us at our monthly Mums & Bubs club. This is a chance to chat, learn and connect over morning tea in an informal setting, with babies welcome. Each session we welcome an expert to provide a mini masterclass.

Maria has a long career working with children and parents. Maria is a qualified Rangi Ruru Nanny, a Childbirth educator and facilitates Antenatal and Post Birth Education classes for new parents.

Her passion for caring for families has also seen her train with The International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM), to become a Certified Infant Massage Instructor. The IAIM program involves many different styles of touch, movement, interaction and communication.

Both research and anecdotal evidence from families have shown that there are many ways that babies and families may benefit from infant massage. In this session Maria will share with you some techniques in this area.

Note this will be a hands-on class, please bring with you either two towels or yoga mat and a cushion.
