Event description

Designed especially for mums and carers of infants, these Mums & Bubs Pilates sessions focus on rebuilding strength, finding a moment of calm, and embracing the joy of movement with your little one by your side. 

Each class includes exercises to help you reconnect with your body post-pregnancy, with options to regress or progress movements based on your fitness level and how you're feeling on the day.

This is a supportive space where feeding, changing, and soothing your baby is welcomed. All mums must have clearance to return to exercise from their doctor before joining this class, and must let the teacher know of any limitations of movement and exercise.

After class, the on-site café is open and you're warmly encouraged to stay for a coffee, a snack, and some social time with other mums and bubs - it’s all part of the experience!

The class is suitable for parents and carers of children who are pre-crawlers and early crawlers. Once babies become more mobile, it can be a little trickier to manage a calm environment, but you're welcome for as long as it feels manageable for you. Please ensure your child does not disturb other children or class participants. Your child's safety and care during the session is your responsibility.

The classes are taught by Stef Wild - a qualified Pilates instructor, personal trainer, and yoga teacher with over a decade of experience in the health and fitness industry. Stef is also a new mum herself, so she understands firsthand the challenges and joys of postpartum movement. Her daughter, Maple, will be present at the classes. Stef's approach is supportive, inclusive, and focused on helping you feel strong, centered, and connected—both to your body and to a like-minded community of parents. Frequently Asked Questions:

When can I start attending the class after giving birth?
Once you've received clearance from your doctor or health provider to return to exercise—usually around 6 weeks postpartum (or later if you’ve had complications or a C-section). Always check with your healthcare provider first.

Can I participate if I’m not very fit or haven't done Pilates before?
Absolutely! The class is suitable for all fitness levels. Exercises are layered with options to regress or progress, so you can move in a way that feels right for you.

What if my baby cries, needs to feed, or needs a nappy change during class?
That’s totally okay—and expected! This is a supportive space where you’re free to feed, change, or comfort your baby as needed.

Do I need to bring any equipment?
Just bring a mat (if you have one), a towel, water bottle, and anything your bub might need during the session (snacks, toys, nappies etc.). We’ll provide any Pilates props we use in class.

Can I come without my baby?
While the class is designed for mums with bubs, we totally understand if your little one is with a carer - you’re still very welcome.

Is there time to socialise with other mums?
Yes! After class, we encourage you to head to the on-site café for a coffee or snack. It’s a lovely opportunity to connect with others going through a similar season.

What baby age range is the class suitable for?

Is there parking on site?

Yes there is a carpark with free carparking on site.

How does the pricing structure work?
A first-time trial session is $24. This ticket type is only available for use once per customer.
To help you stay consistent and get the most out of your postnatal journey, we offer a special package for all 9 sessions at just $219—that’s only $24.30 per class and the best value for ongoing support. You may also purchase an 8 class pass after your first trial session on the 2nd of May, that will give you access to the remaining classes in this term.
Casual attendance, if there are still spaces available, are also welcome at $29 per session.

Will the classes continue beyond the 27th of June?

At this stage, these classes are scheduled to run until the 27th of June. If there’s strong interest and good attendance, it’s likely that future classes will be announced.

What is the policy for missed classes / unused sessions?
We know that life with a little one can be unpredictable, and we always aim to create a supportive space for you to show up exactly as you are. However, to keep things running smoothly and fairly for everyone, we do ask for a little notice if you need to cancel.

Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours prior to the session start time in order to receive a refund for that session.

To cancel, please email stef@performancepilatesandyoga.com with your full name and the session you are canceling.

Late cancellations or no-shows unfortunately cannot be refunded, as your spot could have been offered to someone else on the waitlist.
