PAINT THE TOWN brings nationally established artists to work simultaneously with local talent to create murals that reflect our recovery journey since the 2019 black summer fires. PAINT THE TOWN murals are inspired by co-design workshops held with fire effected community members. A celebration of art that brings colour, vibrancy and culture to our region and represent the voices and insights of fire effected community members.
Muralisto Artists Zoe Suji & Xander Zee use bright colours and patterns to evoke a sense of joy and abundance. Their PTT mural is coming to Bowral and will be started with a community workshop to create a space where people feel welcome and safe to express and explore their own artistic voice.
For PTT Muralisto will transform a wall in Bowral!“Our workshops can get messy, they can be spontaneous and playful, and at the same time deeply meaningful and confidence building for all those involved”. @muralisto
