Murals of Tibet Launch

Join us for a special event at the Great Stupa Library – a launch of the permanent Murals of Tibet display. It will enable Stupa visitors to view the most precious surviving wall paintings of Tibet in life-size, high-resolution images presented in this stunning book. Only 998 copies of it were published – in an impressive, oversized format, and all were signed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

Thomas Laird, the book’s author and photographer extraordinaire, will join us by live video link to talk about his journey in documenting hundreds of Tibetan Buddhist murals through exquisite photographic images.
