The mystery you are about to solve is a work of fiction. But it is based on the true story of the mysterious killing of a Greenwood-Lake-based State Trooper in Tuxedo, NY in the 1920s. Out of respect for his family, and to protect the innocent, we have changed the names and, frankly, most of the facts. And the location. And the date. And a few genders. But the speakeasies, the romance, the notorious bootleggers? They’re all real. They’re all part of the Gangsters of Greenwood Lake.
