    Event description

We are coming together to Sing a Song for Bob - Murrah Clearwater Revival

David Harris (Bob's Bro), Wayne Daniels (from the Dreams Show) and Kim Zilliacus are coming back together as Triple Entente for the occasion. Kim returning from Finland. It also happens that 2023 is the 40th Anniversary of their E.P  'Whispers To The World' * that this band of childhood mates played at The Murrah back in the 80's along with all of their classic rock covers to raise funds for the Hall. This was largely driven by Bob at that time.

Joined by The Cracked Tiles, Alannah & Kathryn Russack (The Hummingbirds), Gout Dad, Mister Rees, Rooster Spoof, Lillian McVeity and many more. Follow the Facebook page of The Murrah Hall for further announcements of artists giving of their time and talent to sing 'A Song a Bob'.

All proceeds to leading community mental health organisations Headspace & R U OK.

Wayne Daniels has kindly agreed to host this ticketing page through his band Dreams - Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks Show and process the donations. Lillian McVeity has been made an administrator of the ticketing page as well.

Gates Open 1pm - Murrah BBQ - Music from 2:30pm

    * Triple Entente recorded and released a 4 track E.P 'Whispers To The World' in 1983/84 and it was one of the best independent releases of that year. Track titles were "Images For Real", "Lolita", "Just A Whisper" and "Girl in the Chapel."

    FROM HOWARD - MURRAH PREZ

RE: Mid Jan 2023 Mental Health Fundraiser > Murrah Clearwater Revival ( A song for Bob)

“The cream of local musicians will be donating their talents along with the special reformation of one of the Murrah Hall’s legend bands, Triple Entente, to raise funds for mental health and suicide intervention Sunday Arvo, January 15th 2023.

Bob’s passing had a galvanising effect on generations in our music community. A first class guitarist, singer and songwriter, remembered for his on stage generosity. He contributed to many Murrah Hall Variety nights - both as a solo artist but also & always as an enthusiastic supporter for other local artists.

For a lightly populated region the calibre of the talent on display for this fundraiser is astonishing. If you are a relatively recent arrival - come, see, feel and hear the generational hearts and souls of The Murrah doing in spirit, their Song for Bob. His legacy and his spirit will be present on the day playing for you. So, it's OK to murmur, "Thanks Bob".

You will feel totally included in the community vibe, the atmosphere of unique Murrah magic of music, crowd, fire & BBQ, knowing that your contribution counts for a better supported mental health future.”
