Learn how to identify and control priority weeds. Providing expert advice, control techniques, and practical knowledge on weed management for the local region.

Event details:

Are you curious about managing priority weeds and want to learn practical techniques to prevent and control weeds on your patch?

Join South East Local Land Services for this workshop that will explore different control methods for tackling weeds identified in the Murrah and Wapengo catchments.

Topics will include:

  • low- cost maintenance techniques

  • importance of diverse native vegetation

  • weed control priorities

  • focused regeneration efforts

  • methods to control local priority weeds.

Funding will be available for landholders in the Murrah Catchment to work and train with a bush regenerator on your property.

There will be time for discussion, so please bring your questions and weed management challenges from your property or local area.

Additional details: Morning Tea will be provided.

This event is funded by the Australian Government under the Saving our Species Program and delivered by Local Land Services, a member of the Commonwealth Regional Delivery panel.
