Jointly hosted by the Rotary Clubs of Mobilong & Murray Bridge for over thirty years, this popular annual

      the Murraylands region and beyond.
Prize Categories: Jean Sims Art Prize - 2D, 3D, Andrew Hay Memorial Photography Prize, Murraylands Animal Welfare Watch Award and People’s Choice.
Guest Speaker and 2025 Prize Judge, Samantha Faehrmann, Guildhouse Artistic Programs Manager.
Originally from a remote community on Gayiri land, Central Qld, Sam relocated to Kaurna land, Adelaide, where she runs a mixed medium practice from her studio ‘Butter and Gravy’. She holds a Masters of Architecture from UniSA, where she began working with the ‘Design Construct Program’. She has a passion for process and industrious practice through connection to communities, design, construction, logistics, fabrication and material. Her expanded portfolio includes contemporary art in pursuit of material language and experimentation, through which she continues to explore the intersections between people, spaces, places, bodies and objects that form the phenomena of our experience and our collective contributions. She is a passionate artist and facilitator who has developed and delivered creative programs across multiple sectors in local, metropolitan, remote, regional and international communities. She is dedicated to co-created outcomes, inclusive practices, capacity building and ever seeking opportunities to encourage and amplify the expansion, sustainability and resolve of creative practices and people.
Karen Eckermann and Ruby Eckermann, Co-founders and Patrons of Murraylands Animal Welfare Watch will judge the prize for the Murraylands Animal Welfare Watch Award.
