Join Holbrook Landcare Network, West Hume Landcare and the NSW DPIE Salinity Basin team for a day of salinity training.
Date: Tuesday 8th August

Location: Mullengandra Hall, Bowna Rd, Bowna
Cost: Free, with catering provided
Learn about:
- the processes involved in dryland salinity – salt land, salinity, salt load, urban salinity, and the variability within the Upper Murray.
- what is, and the use of, the Hydrogeological Landscapes (HGLs) framework for salinity management in the Upper Murray.
- how information will help “day to day business” of landholders and advisors.
Salinity site visits
Visit active and rehabilitated discharge sites in the area to learn about salinity identification, soil characteristics on salt sites and discharge management

This event is targeted to advisors, agronomists and extension staff. Landholders are also welcome to join us for the whole day or just the site visits.
