MURRAYLANDS RMYC Information Session

You’re invited! Join us to learn all about the 2024 River Murray Youth Council (RMYC) program.

Come along to our information session to hear about what’s in store for 2024.
Explore the Swanport Wetland, participate in fun outdoor activities and hear about local projects and opportunities.
Meet the 2023 RMYC members and 2024 interested students to learn more about environmental leadership and have the opportunity to ask questions and see if RMYC is the right fit for you!

Draft Program:
4:30 arrive, afternoon tea, icebreaker
5:00 discuss 2024 RMYC program
5:30 outdoor activity
6:15 pack up
6:30 depart

What to Bring:
BYO Refillable water bottle. Please wear weather-appropriate clothes that are okay to get dirty, a hat and sturdy enclosed shoes. Hand sanitiser, sunscreen and insect repellent will be provided (BYO if required). For more information or contact on the day: Ilyth 0476 011 383.

How to get there:

Please note that the event will be held at Swanport Wetland NOT Swanport Reserve. To get to the location simply type in Swanport Wetland on your smartphone and maps should take you there. Otherwise take the turnoff from Southeastern Freeway to Frank Jackman Lookout and turn left at the RMYC banner. Follow the dirt road that will take you to the car park which is under the Southeastern freeway.
