South Australian Museum Capers PJ Party
Event description
Our special Museum Capers PJ Parties are hosted by Professor Flint, our singing palaeontologist and our Discovery Centre educators. Wear pyjamas, bring your torch, your favourite teddy, and your sense of adventure as you explore the treasures of the Museum by torchlight. Feast on a delicious dinner, enjoy story time, torchlight tours and hands-on activities.
*Please note that a child must have an accompanying adult.
Terms and conditions
The Museum Capers experience is an afterhours family event. To ensure that everyone has an enjoyable and memorable
experience, we ask guests to assist with the following:
• The experience will be held at the South Australian Museum, located on North Terrace, Adelaide CBD and refunds are available from up to 7 days prior.Â
• If you are running late, please call the Membership Team on 0438 117 500 to advise.
• Your Museum Capers experience will commence at 5:30pm at the South Australian Museum; your event hosts will meet you
on arrival. All event attendees are encouraged to wear pyjama themed clothing to add to the excitement of the event. The
Museum Capers experience will conclude at 8pm.
• We ask that mobile phones be placed on ‘vibrate’ or silent mode once you arrive to maximise your Museum experience.
• All children must be a minimum of four (4) years to attend for OH&S and insurance purposes. Children must be accompanied
by a supervising parent or adult at all times, with no more than three (3) children attending for each supervising adult.
• Dinner will be provided within COVID-19 regulations. Please discuss any dietary requirements with our Membership Team.
• Running and excessive yelling is not advised during the experience to ensure everyone has a great time.
• Children are not permitted to play on stairways or elevators – there will be many activities planned during your experience to
entertain young guests.
• Please let staff know if any of your party needs to leave the Museum early so that staff can assist where possible.
• Your hosts have an exciting menu planned throughout your visit so there should be no need to bring any additional food/drink
with you unless you have specific dietary requirements that we cannot cater for.
• All Museum Team hosts hold a current Police Clearance; Wilson Security remain onsite throughout the duration of the event.
• The Museum will be adhering to COVID-19 regulations.
Please note that the Museum is under constant visual video surveillance in all publically accessible areas – as per normal
visitation operating hours
