Museum of Futures: Our Shared Future Tour
Event description
Have you ever wondered how people imagine the future of Australia? The Museum of Futures is a participatory exhibition that invites us all to imagine and take part in shaping our shared futures.
Join us at NSW Parliament House for a tour with the curators of Museum of Futures: Our Shared Futures exhibition. This exhibition features works by 11 artists who collaborated with Sydney communities during the 2020 lockdown, imagining Australia post-pandemic as well as a new artwork, Yadingji, by First Nations artists Nicole Smede and Michael Robinson.
We will be holding two tours: one at 10am and one at 2pm on Thursday 29th June. The tour will be for one hour, but feel free to stay and have a coffee and a chat with curators after the tour.
Please note that there is a lot of security at NSW Parliament, so allow a little extra time to make sure you can get through security in time for the start of the tour.
We really look forward to meeting you and to taking you through this wonderful exhibition.
Kind regards,
Mel Rumble and Claire Marshall, and the Museum of Futures team
