Free Pop-up Museum – Australian Animals, Dinosaurs and Megafauna
Come and explore a range of different objects across a timeline from Australian dinosaurs to megafauna, to today’s animals.
Museums Victoria will bring real objects from Melbourne Museum. Come and see these up close!
What you’ll see:
A life-sized Muttaburrasaurus skull and leg
A Diprotodon skull cast, and footprints artwork
Koolasuchus cleelandi, an ancient car-sized amphibian and Victoria’s State Fossil Emblem
Artwork of Thylacoleo to scale, as well as a cast of a Thylacoleo skull
Australian animal taxidermy from the Museums Victoria collection (koala, platypus, echidna, a range of birds, and more!)
Date: Thursday 25 September 2025
10.30am – 11.30am at Miller Community Centre, 11 Mill Park Drive Mill Park.
