Mushroom Cultivation at SWAMP
Event description
Learn how to integrate mushrooms into your food forest.
Join Clara from Permaculture Central Coast and the Swampies and learn about mushroom cultivation while we set up some mushroom stations for the SWAMP community garden.
We will be discussing how to set up an oyster mushroom bucket and how to start a Wine Cap mushroom patch.
Clara will also organize to have some ingredients for purchase to create your own oyster mushroom bucket at home using the skills you just learned.
Bring along a chair if you wish to sit and some sun protection and cash if you wish to purchase.
The event can still continue in wet weather under cover - mushrooms love the rain!!
