Mushroom Foray at Evansburg State Park

This event is free and open to everyone. The PMC is a nonprofit run entirely by volunteers and funded through donations. If you are able, please consider giving an amount of your choice at checkout. Mush thanks!

Meet us at 1pm in the parking lot next to Pavilion A, by the bathrooms. This is just off Mayhall Rd. After a brief introduction we will break apart to look for mushrooms. If it is your first time and/or you feel like you need guidance you will be able to follow more experienced members. At 3pm we will all meet back at the starting point to identify and talk about what we found and have a little picnic. Feel free to bring a snack or drink too, we will provide light refreshments for everyone.  Please note, cell phone service may be limited in the park. 

Children are welcome to attend. Dogs are also welcome, but we ask you to keep them on leash at all times.

Please dress appropriately for outdoor activities. Close-toed shoes and long pants are recommended due to poison ivy and ticks.
