Mushroom Growing Workshop

MUSHROOM GROWING: 12 noon – 3pm, Wednesday July 17, Grow the Future 20 Auckland Street Bega: Dive into the magical world of mushrooms with local fungi wizards Annette Kennewell from Fungi Feastival, and Matt Branagan from South Coast Shrooms.

Learn about the lives of mushrooms, and the different ways that we can grow them. Get hands-on and grow your own oyster mushrooms, see how Lion’s Mane can be grown using re-usable buckets and MushGrow wood pellets, and help establish an outdoor garden for Wine Cap Mushrooms.

We are so stoked to be collaborating with these local legends, and we’re looking forward to creating a space where 12-24 year olds can come and learn something new, and meet others and make connections in the process.
