Event description

Join us for a fun, upbeat Sunday afternoon!

We are delighted to welcome back The Kennedys, this time with a twist. Come enjoy their original tunes - and buy a book from Pete Kennedy’s trilogy, The Floodwood Chronicles! Pete will be happy to sign your purchase, too.

Tickets are $10-20, your choice.

About The Kennedys

A husband and wife duo, Pete and Maura set out on the road together in the early 90s as members of Nanci Griffith's Blue Moon Orchestra, and since striking out on their own, they have traveled the US, Canada and Europe for three decades as a two-person band. Higher energy than a folk act, but not as loud as a rock band, they mix passionate songwriting with a flair for entertainment and a repertoire of classic songs drawn from their sixteen albums of uplifting original material. Think of a song by Buddy Holly, the Everly Brothers or the Beatles, and that smile on your face is the same smile you’ll be wearing when The Kennedys hit the stage.

About The Floodwood Chronicles

The Mystery at Owl Canyon, volume three of The Floodwood Chronicles finds intrepid professor Artemis Fletcher once again on assignment tracking art thieves around the globe and into the frontiers of the paranormal, as Pete Kennedy gives us another wild, warm-hearted ride through history, art, folklore, and high adventure.

What starts out as a simple gig protecting a surrealist art show in 1967 Mexico City quickly spirals into a luminous mystery involving dream therapy, curanderas, sacred markets, and a gallery of ancestors who may not be as dead as we think, as Artemis finds herself drawn into a world where magic is real and the line between art and spirit blurs into something rich and strange.
