Music at The MiTCH feat. The Planet Nines with special guest Freyja Garbett

Music at The MiTCH is a free entry, weekly series supported by the 24-Hour Economy and Young Henrys, and is curated by Alice Terry. Each Saturday night will feature exceptional artists from various genres The goal is to entertain and create community. We connect by hearing each other's stories, so each act booked will be performing original music.

Tamil-Australian songstress Magickal Ms. G fuses jazz, blues, neo-soul and Dravidian rhythm to explore love, displacement, and colonial legacy. Wry lyricism and haunting melodies create an entire new world fusing sci-fi with genre-bending political pop poetics. On August 8th, she appears with her band The Planet Nines alongside special guest Freyja Garbett at The MiTCH. Her debut album albumX, produced by ARIA-winner Emily-Rose Sarkova and recorded with some of Australia’s best jazz talent, is due for release in 2026.
