    Come and enjoy some reflective Advent music as we approach Christmas.

    Hear your old favourites, along with some stunning new music. 

    We are delighted also to present amazing young Brisbane cellist Joshua Jones, who recently won the Australia National Academy of Music (ANAM) Concerto Competition.

    Joshua has studied cello with Howard Penny since 2020, and commenced training at the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) in 2022. This hear he began his combined Bachelor of Music at the University of Melbourne and ANAM. Previous teachers include Dr. Meta Weiss, Karol Kowalik, and Christine Wang. Joshua has performed as Principal Cello with the Queensland Youth Symphony (QYS), and is currently a member of the Australian Youth Orchestra.     The orchestra is under the musical direction of Helentherese Good .
