I am delighted to be offering my new format Music for Mindfulness for Kids at Palm Beach - a perfect place to be hosting a unique experience of Joshua Tree & Music of the Plants.

I have worked with young people from all walks of life for over 20 years, facilitating arts and wellness programs in various capacities from headspace in Southport, to the Black Dog Institute in Sydney and regional and remote indigenous communities all over Australia.

This program brings together my observations of the needs of young people to experience new ways of being, with emphasis on resilience, mindfulness, self-regulation and connection to the natural world in a fun and engaging way.

I will be sharing tools for life, sadly mostly neglected by the education system. The importance of breath, movement & positive psychology.

The PlayShop includes wisdom and stories of the plant Kingdom, with demonstrations of the Music of the Plants device that i discovered in Damanhur Italy many years ago.

The interactive PlayShop includes a shared concert incorporating playing Didgeridoo, handpan, flutes, african harp, crystal bowls, singing, body percussion & global percussion.

The event is for kids who wish to;

* deepen their connection to nature and share in her secrets
* discover states of self-regulation and inner peace.
* learn new skills in music & movement.
* develop their imagination
* savour community connection.

Please bring a Yoga Matt or cushion to sit on & Water

This session is for kids and young people from 6 - 12 years old.
