Event description

Music for Reptiles is a pop-up event held in Launceston, run by a few musicians who love this town and its people. The event is grass-roots, with a community minded focus and aims to create opportunities for connection and collaboration within the northern music scene.

There will be a bar and lots of non-alcoholic treats for you to enjoy!!

Our objectives are to:

- Give local musicians a fresh platform to present their work

- Cultivate an underground live music culture in Launceston

- Create an opportunity for local audiences to experience a high quality, exclusive, unique music event on a regular basis.

- Give audience members the opportunity to connect and share in an intimate and unique experience.

- Activate underutilised spaces

If you’ve ever wanted to share a new project in a safe and supportive space, or you’d like to start a band and have no idea where to start, then this is an event for you.

Our vision is to create a flourishing music scene and a unique culture that is synonymous with Launceston and is welcoming of all abilities and musical interests.
