Music in the Mountains - Luke and Romy

It is such a pleasure to host these two tallented musicians Romy and Luke playing with the backdrop of our beautiful mountain range. Join us at twilight for some heavenly sounds on the Aro Ha yoga lawn.
You may have heard pianst and composer Luke busking in Queenstown with his piano. He found the piano as a child and began to improvise and compose using the piano to facilitate calm, to process and reflect on emotions or to change his mood. Experiencing a profound therapeutic effect in creating, Luke was guided to eventually obtain a Masters in Music Therapy. This has deepened his understanding of how music can be used to bring about balance to the mind, body and heart.
Romy spent the past 10 years traveling around the world to study the art of healing. From living with indigenous tribes to doing a degree of Naturopathy in Auckland, she has found that sound - the medicine of indigenous people and of our ancestors - is actually the medicine of the future. She is now devoted to bring healing sounds to the world.
