"Musicals that take us back to school" Musical Theatre & Dance Performance May 2024
Event description
We are excited to present our first performance for 2024 on May 26th at 6pm, Coronation Hall in Mosgiel. This concert is our Musical Theatre students and students learning Tap Performance Groups.
Our theme for this show is "Back to School", musicals set in a school theme. For example Grease, High School Musical, Prom, Matilda, 25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee, Footloose, Annie (ok so they were home schooled) and many more. We are also excited to present our first ever all boy tap group and our other tap group items. Our concert is also tinged with sadness as we farewell our amazing Jess Mulholland, who is moving to Australia. We can not thank you enough Jess for all you have given the studio over the last few years. I started teaching Jess in 2005 so we have had a long and special relationship. We are excited to welcome Lydia Pushenko and Jasmine De Cock to our classes at Maori Hill, along with Immy Morey.
