musicEmotion opens up a creative space where music, movement, and improvisation become a vibrant form of ensemble communication.

Two experienced musicians, Philipp Sageder and Horst-Michael Schaffer, from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw), share their cross-genre expertise in timing, awareness, and interdisciplinary collaboration - enabling authentic individual and collective music-making.

This workshop is designed for instrumentalists, singers, and music educators of all levels seeking to expand their artistic skills and teaching approaches.

Why team teaching?

Collaborative teaching opens up space for depth, dialogue, and creative synergy.

It's not a monologue, but a conversation among equals - enriching every aspect of the work through multiple perspectives.

The team:

Philipp Sageder - Jazz vocals, songwriting, rhythm & electronic music

Host-Michael Schaffer - Jazz trumpet, ensemble & improvisation
