Our Ballan Hub will gather in the historic ambience of the beautiful Ballan Mechanics Institute hosted by CMVic Coordinator and passionate community music champion Oli Hinton.

Local leaders Jen Hawley and Will Viran will facilitate a day of workshops for all levels of music-making experience. Our exciting program spans a range of styles and traditions: soulful harmonies, latin rhythms, folk tunes & popular songs – with arrangements to suit all instruments and voices.

With CMVic helpers on hand, we will Zoom-in leaders from across the state including Kavisha Mazzella, Catherine Threlfall, Win Moser, Dan Maceoin.

We are delighted to have Maylene Slater-Burns, proud Kamilaroi, Wiradjuri, Yuin, Worimi, Ngunnawal, Gugu Djungan, Nywaigi, Gangalidda and Garawa woman lead the Acknowledgement of Country and perform a song.

And, we’ll end the day joining our Musicfest hubs in Mildura and Emerald in a celebration concert, MC’d by community music legends Lyndal and Strat and streamed right across Victoria!
