Music Legacy Event
As part of Del Shannon Weekend in Battle Creek (June 28-30th, 2024) we are holding a special event at the Battle Creek Regional History Museum to showcase not only the history of the music legend Del Shannon, but also the history Battle Creek has with other talented stars that left their footprint in the world of music. The presentation will include histories of Del Shannon, Junior Walker & the All-Stars, Wade Flemons, Sy Oliver, Betty Hutton, Jackey & Johnny, The Three Sounds, and many more.
Tickets are $5, and we hope to have members of the community also participate in the discussion sharing memories of the El Grotto, HiLo Club and much more!
The event will be held in the History Education Center at the Battle Creek Regional History Museum at 307 W. Jackson St, Battle Creek, MI 49037.
All proceeds for this event go to support the Battle Creek Regional History Museum.
