The Rugby League Youth Fun Day is a dynamic, community-driven event designed to empower local youth through sport, learning, and connection for youth aged 10-15years. Hosted by the Macleay Valley Mustangs, in partnership with Wuunngati Barriya Aboriginal Corporation (WBAC) and The Benevolent Society, this event aims to promote wellbeing, self-esteem, confidence, and healthy lifestyles through rugby league and interactive workshops.

Taking place during the school holidays, this initiative uses the cultural and communal strength of rugby league as a tool for youth engagement—providing structured activities, mentorship, and support while easing the holiday pressures on parents and guardians.

All participants must be aged between 10–15 years and registered prior to the event.
