Church of the Clitori
This show is not only for & about women, it’s for everyone. Think ‘Sex in the City’ meets ‘Book of Mormons.’
Immersive comedy and cabaret meets theatre and worship. A show that takes feminine power out of the box.
The Church of the Clitori is an original production by body positive satirists.
They call you to worship and to celebrate the Clitoris as a true path to Salvation - Clitoral Salvation.
Anticipate singing the praise of Goddesses & listening to greatest Clit Hits. Rejoice in thought provoking sermons from the Mound. Enjoy a gentle touch on science. Hear about pleasure and self-love. Every Clit is sacred.
Come, and participate in an experience both joyful and subversive.
It will open up more than just your mind. One way to get comfy with Clitorises is by exploring them, in a theatre.
If you: have one, like playing with and pleasing one, know nothing about them, are curious about biology and commonalities, know someone who wants one… This show is for you.
Created and performed by award-winning artists Lillian Rodrigues-Pang and Malika Elizabeth Reese.
MUTTON
Smart, sassy, funny-as-f*ck women over 50 bringing you a double-bill of musical cabaret, steeped in 100+ years of combined theatre & circus power. You are in safe yet smutty hands. Bringing queer feminist punk cabaret aesthetics to new audiences and exploring smart musical comedy as the Apocalypse approaches.
You can expect drums and a bass, two mics and plenty of raunchy, risqué attitude, as this circus and dance duo blend a combined 60+ years of global theatre experience into witty banter amongst their original and cover songs, plus a smidge of Drag King drama thrown in for good measure, all celebrating the glorious mess of the post-menopausal experience.
Low sex drive or looking for new love after divorce? Mutton hears you: our ‘CBF2BF’ mantra and Ode to Online Dating songs are especially for you. In these times of ongoing misogyny, and homogenised social media filters which fetishize the youth & their beauty, gather your coven, to join Gabrielle Griffin and Simone O’Brien as Mutton while they say out loud what most women just think.
