Event description
Caring for a child with complex medical needs can be an enormous emotional weight to carry. From the impact of receiving a diagnosis to the ongoing feelings of grief, guilt, and uncertainty that can arise along the way, the emotional journey of medical parenting is often overlooked.
In this webinar, we’re joined by Psychologist Jessica Gowans, who offers a supportive space to understand the emotional impact of complex care and learn about practical supports available for parents and carers.
We’ll explore

What to do when life feels turned upside down
Reconnecting with your hopes and the parent you imagined being
Simple ways to build resilience and care for yourself
Where to find therapy and mental health supports and how to build your village
