ABOUT MAKING WAVES FOUNDATION
Over the past 27 years, Making Waves Foundation (MWF) (formerly Sailors with disAbilities) has taken more than 50,000 intellectually or physically disabled children and socially disadvantaged youths on our sailing programs.
Making Waves Foundation is a network of skilled and dedicated volunteers who are committed to improving the lives of people living with disability and disadvantage through sailing related activities using ocean racing yachts.
The activities develop interpersonal and team skills to assist disabled or disadvantaged young people to meet life challenges with increased determination and confidence, creating a world where they feel optimistic about their lives, and are accepted as equals in society.
