Alright Kate’s, it’s time to dust off your red dress and warm up our backward pterodactyl as The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever returns for a 5th year to the outdoor stage of HOTA, Home of the Arts on Kate Bush’s birthday, Sunday 30th July from 9am – 12pm.

The MWHDE is a cheerful morning of dancing fun for everyone. This is a morning for connection, community and coming together with friends and strangers to take part in a truly unique and fun global movement while raising funds to support a local charity supporting victims of domestic violence. We think donning red dresses and recreating this iconic dance has its own unique spiritual, healing, and magical elements!

Presented by Lights Out And Dance, we are incredibly proud to again support local Gold Coast charity, Friends with Dignity.

Friends with Dignity work to ease the impact of Domestic Violence on Individuals and the Community regardless of race, ethnicity, gender or sexuality.

A collaborative national Not For Profit focused on improving the quality of life of any Adult and Child impacted by Domestic Violence through the provision of financial and tangible resources, programs and scholarships and enhancing the personal safety of individuals.

Once again, we have set a very ambitious goal: to raise $2000 and get 200 Cathy’s dancing in support of Friends with Dignity

100% of profits from our event are donated directly to Friends with Dignity. Your participation in this glorious event has an immediate and direct impact.

Since 2016, the global MWHDE community has seen more than 10,000 ‘Cathys’ across more than 70 cities worldwide take part in mass wuthering’s, which has seen events hosting more than 2000 people at any given time!
