Event description
After hit seasons in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth it is time for North Epping!
A cabaret starring Jonathan Mill 🎶🌟🌹❤️ with a bush backdrop (and a chorus of cockatoos!)
With hit songs from shows such as Cabaret, Meet Me in St Louis, West Side Story, Oliver!, A Chorus Line and more with classic songs from Buddy Holly, Frank Sinatra, Vanessa Amarosi, John Paul Young and even Kylie Minogue, your feet will be tapping and you might even start to sing along.
With a career spanning 45 years & more than 150 stage productions, Jonathan Mill returns to North Epping with his celebrated cabaret show - My Life In Musicals.
Working with stars such as Jimmy Stewart, Anthony Warlow, Caroline O’Connor, Marina Prior, Todd McKenney, Kylie Minogue and a host of other Australian performers and international stars, Jonathan lifts the lid and gives you a peek behind the curtain of life, both backstage and on.
Musical director Bev Kennedy is a legend of Australian music theatre and cabaret and joins Jonathan on the journey spanning five decades.
From growing up in the suburbs of Adelaide, where he first trained as a dancer, to the bright lights of Broadway, Jonathan weaves his showbiz stories and songs he sang.
Jonathan graduated from NIDA in 1986. He has worked with the Sydney Theatre Company, Melbourne Theatre Company, State Theatre Company of South Australia, Belvoir St Theatre, Ensemble Theatre, Sport For Jove, GFO, Cameron Mackintosh and many others in productions including A Midsummer Night’s Dream, A View From the Bridge, Cabaret, King Lear, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Oliver!, The Crucible, The Ham Funeral, Moby Dick, Meet Me in St Louis, Buddy, Jolson, The Government Inspector, Twelfth Night, Waiting for Godot and four and a half years as Officer Krupke in West Side Story.
