Description: This presentation will focus on the book publication process, sharing insight into what it’s like to work as an editor at a major book publisher. We’ll discuss what makes for a great book title and book description, and go over best practices to submit your work to agents and editors for representation/publication. We’ll also discuss the collaborative nature of the publishing process, and how authors can make sure they have successful working relationships with their editors and designers. There will be a short Q&A at the end, so anyone who attends can ask questions about what it's like to work in book publishing, and seek advice on how to break into the industry and get a book deal.
Please note: This event will NOT be available via recording.
