'My New People' by Caroline Meaden – development showing
Event description
My New People
You’re invited to a final-stage development showing of ‘My New People’, a new work of dance choreographed by Caroline Meaden.
‘My New People’ moves between abstract choreographic dance material, and renderings of a theatre piece in a rehearsal room. It is a formally experimental work that takes cues from 20th century theatre plays with female protagonists, and with a choreographic lens, expands portrayal of individual psychologies through mysterious movement vocabularies.
This development has been supported by a City of Port Phillip’s Cultural Development Fund Projects grant.
When: Saturday July 13, 3:30pm (run-time approx. 1hr 20mins)
