Marble & Wood Carving with Zac Frankel

In this workshop Zac will lead a talk about his background, his work in general and what he produced during the artist residency and whatheI learnt during the programme. Zac will give demonstrations about the various techniques employed in his work, including stone carving tools and techniques, timber carving tools and techniques, sharpening tools, the Japanese burning technique Yakisugi and others. Zac will also involve the audience where possible so they can practice some of these techniques.
