Join Dean Morris and his rescue dog Otis as he shares how a simple idea at just 10 years old grew into the award winning charity GOSAC – Give Our Strays A Chance, which has now delivered millions in donations and supplies. Hear his story of youth leadership, community action and how anyone, regardless of age, can make a meaningful difference.


About the presenter:

Dean Morris is a 23 year old with a passion for making a difference. Dean founded the award winning charity GOSAC - Give Our Strays A Chance when he was 10 years old to raise awareness and donations for animals in need. 13 years later and GOSAC has raised over 5 million dollars in donations and supplies. Saved countless lives and has received recognition internationally. Dean helps animal rescues and regional shelters with life saving supplies. Wildlife hospitals with medical and surgical items, homeless people and struggling families with pet care packages. He works with businesses, legislators, hospitals, the community and the media to gain support and donations and increase awareness for animal welfare issues.

Dean studies a Masters in Professional Engineering at UWA and works as a Project Engineer at Stantec. He is a director at the Canning Vale Community Bank (branch of Bendigo Bank). He has a passion for aviation and received a NASA scholarship to SpaceCamp USA. At 18 Dean published his first book, Saving The World - One Stray At A Time and crosses WA speaking at schools and libraries about youth leadership and how everyone, no matter of age, can change the world.
