"People are in my corner"
"Thank you. I understood everything well. Great pace for learning and questions."

The My Voice, My Rights, My Way project delivers collaboratively designed workshops which teach self-advocacy skills. These skills empower consumers to confidently advocate for themselves, and to better navigate the mental health system.
The workshops assist participants in identifying the key barriers they face in the mental health system, and to provide them with resources to build knowledge and get a clear path forward.
Workshops also offer peer networking and peer mentoring opportunities. They are designed and delivered by people with their own lived experience of mental health challenges.

She/Them Main Facilitator Arana draws from her lived experience of Autism and ADHD, as well as her AOD healing journey, to make each workshop experience warm, friendly, and respectful of diverse lived experiences.
"Thank you. I understood everything well. Great pace for learning and questions."
"I learned about my health care rights and planning for advocacy."
The workshops are held in the Serpentine Jarrahdale Library. The first photo shows the front entrance. When you go inside you need to find the multipurpose room which is at the back of the room. If someone isn't around to ask, just walk to the back of the room and look in the door. There will be a sign, so you know you have found the right room.

There is a large carpark next to the library to park your car, an accessible bay next to the entrance if you need it and racks to park your bike you are riding there.
