BIM Mid Year Showcase 2023

Join us for our annual Midyear Showcase! This event is where our students get up on stage to show off everything they have learnt so far this year! You will be surprised at what they have been able to produce in such a short amount of time.
Bodies in Motion has been an integral part of the Port Douglas / Mossman Community for 22 years and is currently home to 300 students aged between 2.5yrs- adults. Each year in December we produce a professional production at which the entire school takes part in. For the past six years we have had sell out seasons to over 1,200 audience members. In 2023, BIM will be travelling to CPAC in Cairns to stage their End of Year Production!
Producing such a high level show also comes with a large price tag... around $90,000! So, to help cover the costs of the show we hold a 'Midyear Showcase' fundraiser. It is a relaxed, family friendly day that is set up quite similar to a school fete. It is a great opportunity for our students to perform the routines that have been practicing in class in a supportive & fun environment while audience members can take part in raffles, games, cent sales etc!

The event is located at Saint Augustine's Primary school starting from 11:30am. There will be some seating provided but feel free to bring along your camp chairs and picnic blanket. A full canteen, drink stand, cake stall, cent sales and raffles will be available on the day.
