You will receive a separate email more detailed and specified to your ticket type (vendor, volunteer, +1, attendee). But these are the general details laid out for you:

A new home for MycoFest
This year we're at a brand new venue — bigger, more beautiful, and with upgraded amenities we haven't had before. This year's venue also features a swimmable creek on site — a great way to cool off between activities.

One important note: this site involves a lot of walking, more than past years, so come prepared (see gear list below)!

Music & evening entertainment
This year we're also highlighting an Open Mic and an Open DJ set, so there will be even more ways to feel the music and maybe even perform during the weekend – bring your instrument or your voice. On Saturday night, we're thrilled to have Gaia Raga gracing the stage!

We're also excited to welcome Robin Greenfield as our keynote speaker — known for foraging 100% of his own food and medicine for an entire year! You can learn how he did it if you attend his presentation!

Gate hours & entry — new this year

There is now one single entrance and exit for the festival — gates work differently than in past years, so please plan accordingly. Special circumstances will be handled on a case-by-case basis
The festival gates open for the general public Friday, July 30th at 8am. The festival opening begins at 10am.
Gate hours:
- Friday July 30th, gates open at 8am and close at 9pm.
- Saturday, August 1st, gates open from 9am to 9pm.
- Sunday, August 2nd, gates open from 9am and close at 7pm.
- This year, gates will open for the general public Thursday July 30th from 4pm to 7pm.
The festival wraps up Sunday, August 2nd at 5pm — we ask that all general ticket holders be off the property Sunday evening by 7pm.

Foray walks — sign-up required

All attendees who want to join a foray walk must sign up in advance through the Humanitix portal — spots aren't available on a walk-up basis

Arrival & parking

Traffic through camp is one-way — please respect posted signs, in-camp speed limits, and directions from our team. There is no thru car traffic on the campgrounds.
Once you find your camp site: you are welcome to drive up to unload your vehicle. We ask that you drive out to park your car in General Parking before walking back to set up your campsite completely.
General Parking is a 5–20 minute walk from main festival activities.

Camping

Please make sure you pack all you need for cool nights, hot days, and potential rainy moments.
Bring a headlamp or flashlight if you plan to be out after dark. The land gets very dark!
Camping is available anywhere on venue premises unless marked otherwise. Once you find your camp site: you are welcome to drive up to unload your vehicle. We ask that you drive out to park your car in General Parking before walking back to set up your campsite completely.
No car camping this year outside of the main parking area.

Food & Water

Food vendors will be on site, but feel free to bring your own food and portable grills, etc. Making sure you are fed is important so please plan accordingly.
Tested well water is available on site — please only use it to fill containers
There's a small gas station nearby (10-15 mins) and supermarkets about 30 min away.
You can purchase firewood, coffee, cold drinks, frozen treats, ice, and mead at the venue store.

Restrooms & Showers

Porta potties and flush toilets on site — please only use the provided toilet paper, as the plumbing is fragile
Showers run on a token system — tokens are $2 each (or bundled: 3 for $5, 6 for $10, 13 for $20), and each token buys 4 minutes of shower time. There are about 15 showers on site.
Laundry is also available this year — 4 tokens per wash or dry load.

WiFi & Cell Service

WiFi is available on site for $15/weekend
Cell service can be spotty to nonexistent — great for tuning out, but let friends and family know in advance
Download your driving route ahead of time or take note of it, since GPS may not work well once you arrive

Leave No Trace & land respect

This is a Leave No Trace event — please bring trash bags to keep your site clean; a trash collection point will be available at the end of the event before departure
No glass on site, out of respect for the land

Quick camping gear checklist

Tent, sleeping bag, and sleeping pad
Comfortable, sturdy walking shoes (seriously, this venue has a lot of ground to cover!)
Poncho and shoes good in wet conditions
