MycoSymbiotics' Outdoor Mushroom Cultivation Course
Event description
This course is designed to teach participants the skills and techniques required for outdoor cultivation of gourmet mushrooms. We'll cover three main techniques: log plugging, spawn block beds, and low tech greenhouses.
The course will be held in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and will include catered meals for all participants. Each student will leave the course with a spawn block and inoculated log to begin their own mushroom cultivation at home.
Throughout the course, participants will learn about the different types of mushrooms that can be grown outdoors and the ideal conditions for their growth. They will also learn about the different materials and tools required for each technique, as well as the proper care and maintenance of the growing area.
