Forests of Chupa Chups meet adventuring eyeballs and balletic coral in this cinematic audiovisual performance by award-winning composer Ania Reynolds. Her evocative solo piano album of the same name provides the soundtrack to a visual score of projections by Sean Healy, reminiscent of artist Pipilotti Rist and film Allegro Non Troppo.
Traversing contemporary classical, Latin and cinematic genres that leave no emotion unturned, My Shadow Is My Only Follower journeys through a whimsical world of tightly interwoven sound and imagery. Suitable for audiences of all ages, it is a celebration of the beauty in the everyday, and the extraordinary within the ordinary.
