MYSTERY Musical Adventure is a musically themed treasure hunt + album signing at The Pop-Hop Book & Print Shop in Highland Park.

Part treasure hunt, part puzzle, part guided audio tour of your inner life.

Inspired by MYSTERY -- a collection of 12 songs dealing with with the big stories of life -- this immersive concert guides you through clues to collect as you make your way through the shop (and a few nearby landmarks outside) to find items, clues, and works of art.

Participate on your own or with friends and kids. Or your kids' friends. Or your friend's kids! Basically, this is fun for all ages with the potential of being a little bit exciting, mysterious and even beautiful.

Tickets are $10 per person, or $20 for a group. Remote options are also available.

You will need:
- headphones to listen through your phone
- data service to stream audio from the internet (a very small amount)
- a notebook for capturing your insights!
- something you want to have signed by the artist

The experience takes 1-2 hours to complete (depending on your unique aptitudes and interests).

WHERE DO I PARK?

Parking is on the street or in a lot for $1 an hour (credit cards accepted).

DOES IT TAKE ALL DAY?

You can participate at any time on Sunday, August 25. The shop is open from 10am to 6pm, but you must finish the game and submit your results by 5 in order to be eligible for the Grand Prize.

WHAT IS THE GRAND PRIZE?

Cool artsy/booky stuff that will make your life better! Details will be announced August 24 on the SoMysterio.us instagram.

CAN I SHOP?

MYSTERY merch and CDs are available for purchase at The Pop-Hop, as well as an array of nifty zines, unique art pieces (including jewelry, cards and candles) and books.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

For remote players, instructions will arrive by email on August 25.

For on-site players, the process is thus:

1. Arrive at The Pop-Hop.

2. Scan the QR code and access the MYSTERY Musical Adventure playlist.

3. Follow the prompts to explore a specific location (within 100 steps of the shop), find clues, or respond to prompts.

4. Write down your findings in a notebook.

5. Submit your answers through an online form.

6. Feel satisfied, gratified, and even more psyched to be you.
