Mystery Plant Wisdom Circle

In this month's plant wisdom circle we will commune with a mystery plant! This will be a local, medicinal, non-psychedelic plant spirit.

This is one of my *favorite* ways to practice developing trust in our ability to commune with the plants, and in our intuitive nature. When we sit in circle, without any preconceived notions on what the medicine of a plant is "supposed" to do, we open ourselves up as a blank slate to receive what the plant has specifically for our system in this moment. 

Together we will create a ceremonial space to journey with this plant teacher's medicine. The group journeying space creates a strong container for the medicine of the plant to come through. As we share in the plant medicine, we channel insights for ourselves, one another, and the collective. This ancestral practice of deep intuitive listening and dreaming together is such a potent and important gift to the Earth and ourselves. 

These spaces provide the pivotal practice of trusting your intuitive inklings, and receiving validation of them, within a community setting. Being in intentional space to honor and listen to the plants is an ancestral practice that helps us remember how to be in relationship with the forces of nature. It is a practice that is greatly appreciated by the plants, and it feeds our deep, soul-selves. 

They also allow us to find embodied connection with plant medicine. So the wisdom of the plant lives within you, not just from what you read about their medicine.

Amy Terepka is a bodyworker, earth medicine practitioner, priestess, writer, and teacher in Portland, OR. She has has been a student of the plants for close to 20 years, and has held ceremony and taught plant spirit medicine for the past 12 yrs.
